7 Ways to Find (and keep) Success

The thing that most people don’t tell you about their success is the parts where there was a HUGE GAP between when they began seeing little glimmers of successful moments to where they “landed” in whatever measurement they consider as successful. Success doesn’t look the same to everyone.

And I can tell you for sure… success wasn't something that was just handed to me. I had to develop habits to create success. I had to fail forward, OFTEN. I had to learn what not to do, hundreds of times, to learn what didn’t work before figuring out what to do that would.

Here are 7 Ways to Find (and keep) Success.

1. Set good daily habits
Put together a morning journal to write out your intentions, take your morning supplements, do 10 minutes of movement. Anything that feels good that will help you start your day right by setting the tone.

2. Engage in mental health development
Podcasts, audios, books anything that will improve your mental health, do it... if you want to find & keep success, the MOST important thing you need is a strong mindset.

3. Surround yourself with like-minded people
I can’t even begin to tell you how important this is. You are who you surround yourself with… so take a close look of who you’re spending your time with. Are the inviting you into conversations ABOUT other people? Are they commiserating? Sharing drama? Not positive or uplifting? Sometimes seasons change and relationships do, too. Sometimes you need to pull away from people that you no longer resonate with, people that are not going where you want to go, and people that are not good for your mental health. Bless and release.

4. Read daily
Even if it’s just a paragraph a day, grab a personal development book and take ten minutes to read something. Level up your skills in communication, overcoming obstacles, sales, strategies, sales, or whatever else fits your business.

5. Make a checklist
Oh my goodness it’s the best feeling drawing a line through something you’ve accomplished. That feeling of looking at your list at the end of the day and seeing things crossed off gives you a sense of accomplishment.

6. Stay inspired and dream BIG
Whether it’s taking a break during the day, going to your local park or bakery, or even take ten minutes to meditate, do something that will help you refocus and stay inspired and dreaming BIGGER. The bigger you think, the closer you are to the smaller goals that will allow you to accomplish the big dream.

7. TAKE ACTION
Learning is one thing many people spend TOO much time doing. But, if you’re not implementing and taking action on the things you’re learning, you are simply wasting time! You have GOT to take action, be willing to be seen starting small, and get out there and DO the things that will move you forward.

And… repeat!

The trick to keeping the success you do find, is to never stop doing these things. I am not saying you have to always be in the grind (no!) but I am saying that if you want to keep the momentum going, you don’t want to let the fire fizzle out. Continue these habits and you will find it easier and easier to find (and keep!) success in anything you set out to do in life!
