TIPS to keep your home (and sanity) healthy during a pandemic

Your home is your Bubble!

Some ideas for you....

Sanitize the items you bring in after shopping or receiving an order.
NO SHOES IN HOUSE. Sanitize them too!
Throw your clothes in the wash.
Take a shower.
Wipe down door knobs, handles, & light switches.

We are doing this anytime one of us returns from the store. We are limiting trips to the store to once per week. Making a meal plan and shopping list, so we are efficient.

I think it’s better to be proactive rather than reactive at this time and it gives you something productive to do. We have also created a chore chart to rotate cleaning the house between the children. And they go to bed at 8:30, even the teens. No devices or TV after dark. This is working really well for us and the days feel fun and stress free.

Our kids are working on some business ideas and they wrote out house rules, daily schedules & meal plans. They are taking turns cooking for the family. We have a family meeting with a talking stick, when there’s conflict.
