How to start planning REAL goals for next year

Too soon to start talking about goal setting? Nope!

In fact, studies show that MOST people (upwards of 80%) don’t even make goals! Let alone good ones that produce results! Check out these stats:

Dominican University Study (Extended):

  • Participants who wrote down their goals, shared them with a friend, and sent weekly updates to that friend were 76.7% more likely to achieve their goals.


Harvard MBA Study (Extended):

  • The study found that the 3% of graduates who had written goals earned, on average, 10 times more than the other 97% combined, a decade after graduation.

Forbes Insights:

  • 97% of executives attributed their success to having clear, written goals.

Dr. Gail Matthews Study:

  • Participants who wrote down their goals, formulated action commitments, and sent weekly progress reports to a friend accomplished significantly more than those who didn't.

Psychology of Achievement (Brian Tracy):

  • Writing down your goals increases the likelihood of achieving them by 42%.

When it comes to setting goals, many people write down things that aren’t their true north.

I am not talking about finances or material things.
I’m talking about truly living your passion.
Are you in alignment with your soul purpose?

I have found that when people aren’t in alignment, whether they’re out of integrity or their life is askew from what they portray... they don’t even TRY to hit their goals. Meaning, let’s say you put a private jet on your vision board and write your goal down that you’d like to “own a jet”.

Ok… but if you don’t really WANT that, so much that it makes your heart ache, you won’t really be pulled like a magnet to make it happen.

So, if you keep writing down goals but never really align your actions to work toward them, the question to ask yourself is not: what actions should I do more of to achieve this goal?
The question may actually be: is this goal what I really want to achieve?

You don’t have to wait for a new YEAR to start crushing your goals.

You can start on any new day, new hour, new minute, and right this second!

Imagine if none of your fears, self doubt, confidence blocks, or objections were in the way...what would you be doing to serve at your absolute highest level?

What would you be doing each day (or not doing)? What would be different?

Who would you be collaborating with?

Who would you NOT be commiserating with?

Now think… is what’s stopping you really worth stopping for?

Or will that barrier move out of the way if YOU step up and make your move?

In the pursuit of a life that truly speaks to your heart, setting goals becomes a beautiful dance between your dreams and reality.

Begin by diving into your passions and values, exploring what truly lights you up.

Picture the life you crave, both personally and professionally. Break these aspirations into bite-sized, achievable goals – your personal guideposts.

Make them specific, realistic, and a bit daring, inspiring your own growth.

Put pen to paper; let your dreams flow onto the pages.

Your goals aren't just tasks; they're the stepping stones to your desired life.

Revisit and reshape them as you evolve. Align them with your desires.

Don’t hesitate to identify when something (or someone) is no longer inspiring you to show up at your highest level! Rise above toxic food, toxic relationships, toxic habits, toxic conversations, and toxic mindsets!
